Commissioned in the frame of the Berlin Documentary Forum I, for the exhibition "Rules of Evidence" conceived by Okwui Enwezor, who invited artists to respond to the reading of the books: "We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families: Stories from Rwanda" by Philip Gourevitch, "Country of My Skull" by Antje Krog, "On the Natural History of Destruction" by WG Sebald.
Description of works:
- "Verbleite Nähte" (Leaded Seams). Fabric, 370 x 360 cm, sewed cotton.
- "Demarcations". Works on sixteen columns of the HKW hall. Sewed cotton. Dimensions variable.
- "Streunende Hunde/Zwei Kinder/Lichter der Stadt". 150 x 100 cm. Acrylic paint on plexiglass.
- "Krähen". 150 x 100 cm. Acrylic paint on plexiglass.
