Dolores Zinny and Juan Maidagan were fellows of the Whitney Museum ISP and recipients of the prestigeous DAAD Berlin Artist Program Award, John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship Award and Pollock Krasner Fellowship Award.

Their work has been featured internationally in venues as the 50th Venice Biennial, the 2nd Sevilla Biennial, the 5th Berlin Biennial, the 8th Gwangju Biennial, 1st Cartagena Biennial and in institutions as MIT, The Generali Foundation, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, with solo exhibitions at The New Museum of Contemporary Art New York, Moderna Museet Stockholm, Museo Rufino Tamayo Mexico City, Lunds Kunsthall, DAAD Galerie-Berlin, MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt, among others.

Zinny Maidagan have produced art for the public space, for example at the City Hall in Graz, at the Biblioteque Royale in Brussels and at Fundación Proa in Buenos Aires. Recently they won two International Public Art Competitions for permanent work in Germany funded by the Goverment of Hesse: for Fulda University of Applied Sciences and in 2016 for Goethe University Frankfurt with a sculpture specially designed for the IG Farben Haus.

Zinny Maidagan are currently working for an exhibition at Los Angeles County Museum LACMA in 2017, as part of Getty Foundation’s Pacific Standard Time LA/LA, in this frame they were awarded in 2015 a full Research Residency at 18th Street Arts Center.

Numerous catalogues and monographic books have been published about their work: Zinny Maidagan Compartment/Das Abteil MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst with an essay by Ranjot Hoskote and Zinny Maidagan Such a Good Cover Berliner Künstlerprogramm DAAD, with an essay by Lynne Cooke.

They are represented in many private and public collections.
